Nursery & Preschool Teacher

Kinder Kids International School is now hiring Nursery and Preschool Teachers

We have a range of start dates available.

Immediate start
January 2015
March 2015

We are looking for only the best candidates to join our excellent team of early childhood specialists. Please note that we are not an eikawa school, this post is best suited to people who have an ambition to work within the field of education as a teacher and educator, not only a language teacher.

Nursery and Preschool involves teaching children between 1.5 years old to 3.5 years old. You would have your very own classroom and teaching partner for the entire school year. If you can imagine a Kindergarten teacher in your home country, our positions are very similar.

We have a range of locations available particularly Saito Nishi (Osaka Monorail), JR Senrioka and Gakken Naratomigaoka.

We would like you to have had some experience teaching younger children, however if you have not, do not worry, as a good attitude, willingness to learn and a bit of determination will go along way.

The position requires you to be physically fit and have a lot of energy. While teaching children is very rewarding, it is also very demanding.

We offer an initial basic training package and offer consistent support throughout your career with us. There is one simple ethos behind everything we do..... Happy teachers means well educated children!

Teaching is not easy and this job is not suited to someone who lacks the drive and passion for education and English language learning.

We expect 100% effort from you and in return we can give you;

A competitive starting salary
A career track with clear promotion lines (a good idea if you want to live in Japan long term)
Approximately 8 weeks of fully paid vacation time per year
A completion bonus for each and every contract you sign of up to 200,000Yen
Full transportation allowance coverage
Subsidized medical insurance
Unemployment insurance
A voice within our company
A pay review every year with clear pay targets

*Applicants applying from foreign countries are eligible for Visa sponsorship and a possible relocation bonus of 100,000Yen to help with moving costs.
*Conditions apply

If you are serious, willing to work hard, and ready to taker on a challenge, we are waiting to receive your application.

Please note that this is not an Eikawa position, it is a class teacher position for a group of children who you will see every day for the whole academic year. Please note that applicants must be able to commit to one school year within reason.

We look forward to receiving your application. For further information about our school please visit our website: - www.kinderkids.co.jp

Ability and experience teaching students for whom English is not their first language.
Teaching certification or qualification in early childhood strongly preferred.

We welcome well qualified, highly motivated and committed teachers to apply for a rewarding career opportunity. We have established a successful curriculum and a strong support network for our teachers. The position involves teaching and caring for a class of up to 18 students aged between 1 and 3 with support from experienced Japanese classroom assistants.

Travel expenses are paid up to a maximum of 25,000 yen per month and health insurance is provided in addition to salary.

For more details please refer to our website.

Due to the large number of applications we get, we will only contact applicants deemed suitable for an interview. Make sure your cover letter is addressed specifically to Kansai International Academy and includes why you would like to work at our school and how you think your skills and experience could add to our academic environment. This is not an entry-level job and positions are extremely competitive. Having numerous years of ESL teaching experience or being multicultural will not be enough to warrant an interview.
