Job Description



As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will formulate strategies for recruitment programs and manage the creation and execution of programs on a local level, and establish and maintain high quality relationships with candidate sources such as staffing agencies, community groups and universities. You are also responsible for facilitating candidates through the application process including screening, interviewing, and pre & post offer administration.  You will also analyze metrics to ensure programs generate an adequate qualified candidate pipeline to fill business unit requirements. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting of qualified candidates for current job openings.

Owned and operated by iTTTi Japan, Peppy Kids Club is a network of over 1,300 children’s English conversation classrooms across Japan. Peppy Kids Club was established in 1989 and currently teaches more than 95,000 students at more than 1300 locations in Japan. We are currently the third largest provider of private English instruction in the country.

We are seeking English Native speakers to fill positions in the Kyushu Area (Kyushu: Fukuoka, Saga, Oita, Kumamoto), as well as other parts of Japan.


Our mission is to provide S.A.F.E. (Safe, Affectionate, Fun and Educational) lessons to every student in every class. Our students are greeted with an unmistakable level of enthusiasm and they attend one 60-minute lesson per week. Three of these monthly lessons are taught by a Japanese, English-speaking teacher and the fourth lesson is taught by a Native English Speaker. Peppy Kids Club Lessons take place in the afternoons and evenings. Lessons most often begin at 15:45pm or 17:00pm and can finish as late as 21:45pm. Teachers teach an average of 3-4 lessons per work day.


Peppy Kids Club teaches children exclusively! We teach a wide range of students – from 2 to 17 years old. The majority of our students are elementary-aged children (between 6-12 years old). Each class of students will be of a similar age. A typical class has an average of 6-10 children in it but classes may have anywhere between 1 to 15 students. Our lessons are conducted in an English-only environment – we do not use Japanese in the classroom. Lessons are designed to be conducted in a fun and interactive way.


Lesson curriculum is provided and our classrooms are well-stocked with a variety of teaching materials that are developed and produced by the company. We are very proud of our lesson curriculum and materials. Our teachers have the flexibility to adapt elements of our curriculum to the needs and interests of the students. Our lessons are filled with activities such as signing, dancing, and games to reinforce our lesson objectives. A major focus of our lessons is English conversation and internationalism. Working with children, while stimulating and rewarding, is also physically and mentally demanding.


Teachers are expected to work independently and are assigned to 3 or 4 different classrooms that they will visit every month. Our teachers are the only adults at the classroom and are responsible for the safety and well-being of each and every student – safety is our highest priority. Bi-lingual support from our Head Office is available any time lessons are held. A detailed monthly schedule and annual lesson calendar will be provided. Teachers use public transit to travel to their assigned classrooms. On average, classrooms are between 45-80 minutes away by public transit. Public transportation commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed.


Teachers will attend a comprehensive 2-week training program. Training begins in Nagoya and some teachers may complete their training in other parts of Japan. The training program is considered paid work.


Visa sponsorship, semi-furnished accommodations (single occupancy), and an attractive and competitive compensation package are provided.

The Role


The Regional Fleet Sales Advisor will be responsible for selling Tesla products in the B2B channel, namely leasing companies, corporate clients and fleet potentials. The successful candidate will work closely with these clients to develop sales and achieve own and company goals. The Regional Fleet Sales Advisor will report into the Japan Country Manager.


 


Responsibilities


  • Proactively prospect for new clients within the B2B industry, selling Tesla’s as company car.

  • Act as a point of contact for new fleet customer enquiries.

  • Actively go to client meetings on-site and present Tesla’s fleet proposition and close off new business.

  • Ensure all sales objectives are met and exceeded.

  • Develop, maintain and publish a suite of accurate and timely sales reports.

  • Have input and ownership of all Fleet Marketing Campaigns, whether strategic, quarterly or tactical.

  • Monitor and recommend usage of the Corporate Demonstrator fleet to maximise exposure, sales and brand awareness.

  • Be an expert in your field – develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles, business finance products and services, processes and promotions.

  • Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis in order to ensure you are maximizing your sales opportunities.

  • Work on the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

  • Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required.


Required Skills



  • Previous fleet/automotive sales experience in the B2B market.

  • A proven track-record of achieving and/or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong team-player.

  • Excellent Communication and relationship management skills, both oral and written.

  • Strong influencing skills required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience.

Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) is able to sponsor a visa for this position.


Salary & Benefits:


Commensurate with experience.



Eleven days paid vacation in the first year, increasing to 20 days after 6 years of employment, plus 5 paid “personal and sick days” each year. In addition, approximately 2 weeks university-wide break over Christmas/New Year. Japanese social insurance and pension, commuting allowance, and tuition benefits for Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) programs.


Overview of position:


Play a key role in TUJ’s efforts to improve TUJ’s status as an educational institution. Develop further partnerships with Japanese universities, coordinate and work closely with project team members, with related faculty members and departments within TUJ and its main campus in the U.S., and with external venders. The wide-ranging duties span providing advice, data collection and analysis, and clerical assistance to the dean and senior management in relevant departments.


Primary Responsibilities:


- Act as a main liaison between TUJ and Japanese legislators, and MEXT, e.g., play a key role in TUJ’s efforts in attaining gakko hojin status



– Act as a liaison between TUJ and Japanese and foreign institutions for any other ad hoc inquiries from institutions



– Play a key role in organizing short programs, and faculty development workshops. Make important decisions on logistics and contents of the programs, especially for faculty development workshops



– Act as a liaison on various issues between TUJ and governmental institutions such as MEXT, the U.S. embassy, and other foreign embassies in Tokyo



– Facilitate communication within TUJ for other university relations, and short-term programs



– Data collection and analysis on Japanese and foreign institution trends in higher education/secondary education research



– Produce, check and edit Japanese translation of English documents



– Provide some clerical assistance to the dean e.g., schedule meetings, write letters



– Provide support for Dean’s Office functions such as alumni events, staff end-of-year party, and commencement


Qualifications & Experience:


- Native speaker of Japanese or the same level of Japanese skill



– Advanced level or higher in English.



– Solid writing and editing skills in Japanese and English



– At least 5 years of work experience



– At least a bachelor’s degree



– Experience in working as a researcher or in grant proposal writing in Japan is a plus



– Strong interest in education, especially international, liberal arts higher education

Description
Berkeley House Language Center is seeking for experienced Part-time English instructors for morning/daytime/evening courses in Tokyo area.

Schedule:



– 1.5 to 2 hours between 8:00 and 21:00 on weekdays depending on your availability


Class type:



– Group, One to one, school settings etc



– Coversational, Business English, TOEFL/IELTS preparation, etc


Remuneration:



-3,000yen/hour is the staring rate; negotiable depending on experience/skill of the teacher


Requirements:



– More than 3 years’ teaching experience in Japan



– TEFL/TESOL/CELTA preferred


Misc:



– Transportation cost is covered.



– Cheerful, diligent and punctual person is welcome.



– Training session will be provided on demand for certain type of class.

1.タイ国内日系企業からの問合せ、発注(ゴルフコンペ開催による記念品、造花、会社設立記念式典の備品・贈与品)の応対業務。


2.タイ国内日系企業への上記商品の売り込み活動(テレアポ、DM等でアポイントを設定し、打ち合わせの実施。)


3.旅行者からの問い合わせ応対業務。(店舗内および電話での応対。)
