Semi-Full-Time Native English Instructor

About the position
Semi-Full-Time Instructors will be asked to work 2-4 days/week (From Wednesday to Saturday) with a maximum of 6 teaching hours/day. Instructors will be paid a total of 12,000yen/day regardless of the actual number of hours taught. All transportation fees will also be provided.

Regardless of the actual teaching hours, instructors will obtain a fix income of 12,000yen/day. Even in the case where the instructor has only 1 or 2 classes per day (due to scheduling purposes, sudden cancellations, etc), the salary will remain the same. This will provide the instructor with a stable and reliable income at the end of each month. The instructor will not have more than 6 teaching hours in the same day.

About American Language School Chofu
All instructors will receive professional initial and on-going training allowing you to become a language teaching professional. You will have the opportunity to teach students of all levels and a variety of sizes (children and adults). The school environment is both friendly and professional.

Where is Chofu
Chofu is a suburb of Tokyo and a wonderful place to work and live. The famous Jindaiji Temple and Jindai Botanical gardens are located here as well as the soccer stadium where Tokyo Verdy and FC Tokyo play.

Requirements:
Enthusiasm
Native English speaker
Working visa
University degree
Able to teach 2-4 days/week (Wednesday to Saturday)
Currently reside in Japan
