Johnsonville Japan, the innovator in Japanese retail food market, is looking for a business professional who can deliver value to retail market. The successful candidate is to be willing to set high standards, capable of strategic thinking, marketing minded, resilient in adversity, skilled in communication, and think outside of box.


Responsibilities 責務:


The key role of this position is to execute marketing plan to maximize the sales of Johnsonville products in market place. Johnsonville sells most of its products through our strategic partner, Prima Ham KK. The responsibility of this position falls into the main functional areas as follows.

- Partnership Management パートナーシップマネジメント
- Sales/Product/Brand Management セールス/プロダクト/ブランドマネジメント
- Retail/Trade Support リテール/トレードサポート
- Project Management (i.e. new product development) プロジェクトマネジメント(新製品開発等)


  • Work closely either with a General Manager of Japan office and an International Marketing Director Asia based in Singapore to create execution strategies for sales

  • Work either with various divisions of Prima and support them, or directly with retailers to increase the sales of Johnsonville products. It also includes trade support planning.

  • Attendance to retail presentations/sales calls is anticipated.

  • Develop and build relationships with key customers, including those in key decision-making positions at headquarter level, as well as with category managers of key stores

  • Create specific action plans to increase the sales of Johnsonville products among key retailers

  • Create and execute professional, fact-based sales presentations, and deliver HICS (Highest Impact on Customer Success) to customers

  • Manage data on sales/shipping/POS and process those into sales material

  • Manage demand forecast on product basis and share it with US supply chain team

  • Ensure the launch of new products into target customers as a key member of the project team

  • Execute HICS idea and establish Johnsonville’s reputation among customers

  • Handle inquiries, requests, and complaints from distributors/customers in day-to-day business

  • Manage stakes and conflicts that occurs in dealing with the partner once in a while

  • Communication with US office will be required on regular basis

  • Travels will be required both domestically and internationally
