Job Description:

You main focus will be to:

 Develop the electrical components such as instrument cluster, audio and switch with team members and suppliers.
 To realize the commonality of technology/components with global development teams and drive efficiencies.
 Support the manager, lead in his absence and grow in your ability to step into a team management role.
 Takes the lead for your own area and collaborate with other team leaders outside of Japan to drive the technical strategies and advance engineering.

(Note: The responsibility area is electrical components and, sometimes it needs to support the driver electronics area.)

Your key responsibilities/accountabilities will be to:

 Lead the team member for achievement of the driving improvements in terms of product quality, cost, delivery and function through reaching KPIs for each project
 Contribute to the integration plan of the Japanese and global development teams at other sites around the world.
 Contribute to advanced engineering and technology strategies

Successful Candidate Skill-Set

You will need to be a proven electrical / electronic expert who has the potential to become a future leader in the Electrical & Electronics Engineering team; highly motivated to work in a globally integrated team with a strategic view of business.

 Engineering Degree (Electrical or Electronics)
 Electrical/ Electronics components design experience for trucks or cars
 Some leadership responsibilities or small team management responsibility
 Experience of managing suppliers and/or outsourcing companies.
 Native Level Japanese and upper intermediate to advanced English
