English instructor for intensive course – Fukushima

Berkeley House Language Center is seeking experienced English instructors for an intensive course in Fukushima prefecture starting in April 2015



Contract period: –April 6th – June 19th



*Possibly 3 other intensive courses will be available for right candidates. The courses will start in July, Oct, and Jan.


Students : Volunteers going to foreign countries.


Location : Nihonmatsu-shi, Fukushima-ken


Working day: Monday-Saturday


Teaching hours: 5hours/day (8:45-14:50)



50 min class * 5 classes a day ( Roughly 210 hours per course )



*Work other than teaching: writing reports, participating in events and meetings, etc.


Student number : 1 to 6


Remuneration: roughly 300,000 yen per month


Transportation expenses to and from Nihonmatsu in Japan will be reimbursed



Transportation from provided apartment to working place will be available for free.


Accommodation: free apartment provided


<Qualification Requirements>


The ideal candidate should be a native speaker or Japanese national with professional proficiency in English and a dedicated team worker, he/she must possess an undergraduate degree from an accredited university and experience in teaching Japanese national.



Preference will be given to those with experience in teaching intensive language programs in Japan.
