Kindergarten Assistant and After School Lead Teacher ‹ Japan Guide - 2015

International Kids Academy is a large and well established international kindergarten in Showa ward in Nagoya city (conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from Gokiso station). We are currently looking for an energetic and positive full time kindergarten assistant teacher to help in one of our kindergarten classes as well as be a lead teacher for an after school class with elementary students. Our new school year will start at the beginning of April 2015 and training will commence as soon as possible. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT / BENEFITS:



-Working hours will be 9:00-6:00 Monday-Friday.



-Over 6 weeks of paid holidays through out the year



-Salary starts from 200,000-260,000yen per month depending on qualifications and experience.



-A salary increase is in effect after successful completion of a 3 month probation period.



-One-year renewable contract



-Company housing is available.



-Visa sponsorship is available.



-Health and Social Insurance coverage through the Japanese Social Insurance

REQUIREMENTS:



-Native English speaking individuals from native English speaking countries only



-Completed four-year University degree



-Experience with young children



-Genuine love of children



-Genuine interest in Japan



-Able to work in a team environment



-Flexible to the demands of the job



-Kind, outgoing personality



-Great sense of humor (when teaching kids, this is a must!)



-The atmosphere at the kindergarten is light and friendly and we are after an individual who can display the above qualities and wants a truly rewarding job with a great group of dedicated people.
