Skills & Experience:


– Setup, configure, enhance, and maintain Atlassian Confluence and JIRA issue tracking software, building on existing system as well as breaking new ground.


-Working closely with content creation and tracking experts, build custom projects, workflows, dashboard, and reports to improve the day to day tracking of the studio.


– Leverage existing, purchased, and developer JIRA plug-ins.


– Provide improvements to workflows through use of internally developed extensions as well as the scripting environments built into JIRA.


– Provide technical consultation to teams working on integration of JIRA.


– Maintain and provide support for the existing in-house JIRA Solution.



– Analyze and evaluate the new business requirements and define the most efficient & appropriate solutions using JIRA.


– Create / update corresponding documentation / user guides. Prepare training materials and train existing users on Atlassian products.



– Database exposure & administration (PostGRE)


– Proficient in JIRA server administration.



– Excellent debugging, problem solving, & process implementation skills.


– Knowledge of Agile. Continuous integration practices are strongly preferred.


– Excellent problem solving skills, process implementation skills and skillful in handling support requests at the same time managing various projects related activities in parallel.


– Proficient in customizing JIRA projects with various schemas and support.


– Act as the JIRA expert in troubleshooting of critical production problems as required.


– Perform migrations of JIRA instances.


– Create JIRA workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes.


– Candidate should also possess integration proficiency on JIRA with other Atlassian tools like Confluence , Stash, LDAP integration and Should be proficient enough in providing guidance to other team members of other projects for integration with other tools.


– Administer the JIRA and Confluence instance each day, including any needed performance and tools work, making recommendation as needed.

Required Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in JAVA Development, Strong skills on JAVA, JSON, Rest Full Service APIs, Groovy Scripting, JQuery (MUST). Preferred additional hands on knowledge in JQL, Regular Expressions, Velocity script, XML and open source technologies.



– Review and optimize existing Java source codes.



– 2+ years of recent experience in developing Atlassian JIRA (Ver. 5.0/ 6.0 and later) / Confluence plugins and gadgets using the Atlassian Plugin SDK 4.x+ (MUST)



– 2+ years of recent experience in using/extending REST Services provided by Atlassian



– The candidate must be able to work independently and think out-of-the-box. Must possess good oral and written communication skills.



– The candidate is expected to work on 50% JIRA Administration and 50% Development work.



– The candidate should also have a strong aptitude for analyzing problems and come up with a reasonable solution.



– This candidate should be able to know where and how to research for information and should enjoy working in a fast-paced, diverse and customer service-oriented environment. Desired Qualifications:



– 3+ years of professional experience building workflows and project manager system in JIRA.



– 3+ years of experience with a high level scripting language, like Python, Javascript, or equivalent.



– Strong sense of UI design skills, with a passion for creating tools and user experiences to improve work flow.



– Ability to handle multiple demands from superiors and coworkers, have strong ability to maintain professionalism with climate changes, display finesse when working under adverse conditions and embrace change in a fast paced environment.



– Good working knowledge of database operation, preferably with PostGRE



– General understanding of PKI is preferred but not required.
