Job Description
Job Description: - The Change Management Specialist will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing user adoption and usage. Responsibilities:
A global leading network company seeks a Change Manager to plan execute on the change enablement & adoption strategy of a critical sales enablement initiative to impacted business functions internal & external to the company for Japan business.
– This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.
– The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize user adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
– The Change Management Specialist will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
– Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
– Perform the change impact assessment and the stakeholder assessment for planned sales capabilities
– Create change management strategy and integrate change management activities into project plan
– Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
– Identify and manage anticipated resistance
– Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan in Japanese & English as applicable
– Plan & deliver the release communications and trainings to impacted internal and external stakeholders
– UAT Facilitation and Sign-Off: Drive UAT Kick-Off, Facilitate UAT Sessions In-Country, Provide Script Assignments for UAT Participants, Coordinate Defect Retest with Theater UAT Participants, Obtain theater feedback and sign-off for UAT
– Participate in UAT, detect, report, escalate, retest and drive fix/closure of defects
– Track, report issues and provide escalation support
– Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
– Support change management at the organizational level, Enterprise Change Management
Required Skills
Qualifications and Skills Requirements: - Excellent bi-lingual skills required [Native Japanese] – should be able to develop training materials and user guides, drive meetings, deliver trainings and communications in Japanese and English - Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal - Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines
– 8 to 10 years of experience in Change Management, Project Management, Sales & Channels Business Operations or Customer Service
– A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
– Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies & tools
– Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
– Excellent active listening skills
– Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
– Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
– Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
– Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
– Forward looking with a holistic approach
– Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
– Problem solving and root cause identification skills
– Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
– Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
– Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
– Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
– Change management certification or designation desired
