Immediate ALT in Kawagoe, Saitama ‹ Japan Guide - 2015

• English: Native level


• Japanese: Basic


• BA/BS degree or equivalent, or valid Japanese working visa


• ALT teaching experience


• Japanese communication ability

General details:



– Contract starting date: ASAP



– Contract ending date: January, 2016



– Basically Monday to Friday



– Working hours: 8:30-16:15 (Hours may vary 5-10 minutes depending on the school.)



– Ample vacation time during summer and winter breaks



– Visa sponsorship available if you meet the requirements.

Basic requirements:



– Native-level English ability



– BA/BS degree or higher from a university



– Some experience teaching English or working with children



– Some Japanese ability strongly preferred (*but not necessarily required)



– Friendly with a desire to teach and work with children



– Flexible and able to work well with many different types of teachers and students



– Independent and able to fulfill a one-year contract
