Senior L2 Support - Spring Asia - 関東

Responsibilities:
To work as an application expert in the Tokyo’s team

To manage all user issues to completion, escalating to developers or other IT teams as required


Provide regular and accurate updates to Japan operations during issues / outages


Manage incidents to be in line with the defined Production Management guidelines


Ensure critical system uptime with timely checks and RTB support


Take initiatives in ensuring continual improvement in service levels for support


Maintain strong working relationships with Production Management teams in Tokyo and in other regions and with the users in Japan


Take charge in ensuring that all support cards / documentation is maintained and periodically updated


Requirements:
Excellent skill in both written and spoken Japanese and English


Good grasp of Oracle or Sybase SQL scripting


5+ years’ experience as L2, L3 or Developer in investment bank, preferably from a finance / securities domain


Command level of UNIX/LINUX


Highly preferable:
Stored Procedures, Debugging


Unix or Perl Scripting


Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering degree
