Job Description:
The IT International Operations Regional Operations Manager (ROM) is responsible, within the assigned region, for the delivery of Enterprise IT infrastructure services and solutions in support of business needs and objectives.
The region assigned to this position includes Japan, Korea, and Taiwan with backup responsibilities for China, Hong Kong, and Mongolia. The ROM manages a geographically dispersed team of IT technicians, service fulfilment analysts and support coordinators and, in coordination with other functional groups, ensures the efficient provisioning of IT Operations services and solutions to internal end users.
Such services include desktop support, IT network and back-end infrastructure support, IT service management and governance, tech insertions, upgrades and changes to maintain the IT environment operational and efficient. The ROM oversees team hiring, staffing, training, performance appraisals and manages training budget. In alignment with the overall Boeing IT International global and regional strategies, s/he provides detailed direction, identifies constraints, manages priorities, coordinates resources and ensures that deadlines are respected.
The ROM also monitors Service Quality indicators to ensure an effective service delivery and to identify staffing needs to cope with business growth in the assigned region. The ROM reports to the IT International Director/Regional Leader and takes functional direction from the IT International Global Operations Director via a dotted-line reporting relationship.
Additionally, the ROM interacts on a regular basis with IT senior managers, business partners and other Enterprise Functions within the Boeing IT organization. Business travel is expected both within the assigned region and to other global sites, as driven by business needs. Significant flexibility is expected as off-hours activity will be needed to coordinate with a globally dispersed team.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.

Qualifications:
- Experience in large-scale global Enterprise IT infrastructure solutions and service delivery.
- At least three years of people management experience.
- Multi-year hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure support and service delivery.
- Technical, ITIL and/or Project Management certifications highly desirable.
- IT / Technical education background.
