Children develop their abilities through appropriate toys and plays. Playroom has such interest areas as Dramatic Play, Blocks, Toys, Arts & Crafts, Sand & Water, Library and Music & Movement.

First Learning Yoyogiuehara has part-time positions available for energetic, motivated, friendly teachers who love children from infant to 3rd grade and are enthusiastic and passionate about teaching effective lessons to young children and learning about creative curriculum.

Position details:



Work days: Monday to Saturday.



School operating hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday but details regarding working hours, days, compensation and other benefits will be discussed with applicants during the interview.

Ideal applicants should



– currently live in Japan and have a valid visa( at least 1 year from now)



– have at least one year of experience working in preschool/kindergarten settings.



– teach lessons effectively and offer attractive lessons for children



– be organized and effective teachers in a team work environment (good interpersonal/team skills and excellent communication skills)



– be patient, active, friendly and flexible



– be able to expand ideas of each classes based on our curriculum(curriculum being set already)



– be acutely aware of environmental dangers and risks to children such as at park, during work time(play time), lunch time etc.



– attend meetings, events, other activities, when required
