Job Description

Roles:

• Develop, implement and maintain In-House legacy Applications


• Work with business users, and IS team support members to identify, and fine-tune, customer requirements


• Conduct Pre & Post Project Study & Review


• Perform post-implementation transition and support


• Perform 2nd level helpdesk support


• Undertake documentation duties of all In-House Legacy Applications


• Conduct Train-the-Trainer training and/or transition training for helpdesk supporting members


• Liaise with external vendor if project is outsourced


• Perform AS400 Administration duties and to the backup AS400 Administrator


• Enforce IS Security, Policies & Strategies


• Assist Team Leader in team progress & performance reporting


• Achieve Department Objectives and KPIs target as well as Individual KPIs target.

Skills Required :

• Strong AS/400 and RPGLE programming background required (at least 2-5 years’ experience).


• Experience in performing SDLC tasks including end-user training & documentation 


• Experience with CL programming and OS/400 required.


• File transfer (ftp, Excel to AS400, AS400 to Excel) required.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.


• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word applications required (2 + years).

Requirement: 

• Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or equivalent 


• At least 5 years relevant experiences in AS400 support experiences 


• At least 3-5 years business application system support experiences 


• MUST have RPG programming and AS400 Server administration hands on experience 


• Preferably with Business Processes knowledge in manufacturing & distribution environment
