Job Description

• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.


• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.


• Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements.


• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.


• Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.


• Supports budget and forecasting activities.


• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.


• Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.

Required Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent


• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience


• Knowledge and experience in Tax inspection for Japanese Tax authority


• Ensure of all overseas accounts in compliance with the Japanese Accounting Standard


• Preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting closing, and Profit & Loss forecasting


• Review and preparing of payment and journal slip with the internal accounting system


• Responsible for the Tax, Accounting Audit and Budgeting for the International Division


• Bilingual in English and Japanese as candidates is required to liaise with Japan authorities


• Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to work in a team


• Able to travel within region as and when required
