Job Description

Join highly motivated and dynamic teams responsible for Front Office IT applications in Japan. This is across Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives product areas. Main responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day support for business critical trading systems.


• Take ownership of issues through to resolution or escalation


• Provide advisory and consultancy regarding support process and quality improvements


• Work closely with the business and other IT teams in Japan/regionally


• Participate in front office IT solutions delivery and projects when required

Required Skills

• Minimum two years of experience supporting front office applications


• Good trouble shooting and technical problem resolution skills with a commitment to go through root cause analysis and business process improvement


• Technical skills: Unix/Linux, Databases, SQL, Scripting (Perl/Shell/Python/VBScript), basic network technologies


• Good communication skills. Fluency in Japanese and English languages skills is preferred for the user facing roles


• Ability to deliver in fast paced and demanding environment


• Flexible, team player and detailed oriented
