Lead the team to assure and improve the quality of

imported products and components by incoming inspection and close collaboration

with manufacturing plants. Minimize business interruption and loss due to

quality troubles by swift communication, decisions and actions. Pursue business contribution beyond

the team and the division with excellent leadership and ownership. Manage DC

labeling operations as a GMP responsible person against Pharmaceutical Affairs

Law.

[MANAGEMENT]

• Develop and executethe operation plan according to global QA strategies including people developmenton skills and comptencies.
  


• Monitor KQIs (cycletime, product rejection rate, etc.) and improve opertional efficiencieswhile maintaininig effectiveness.
  


• Enhancecommunications with internal/external business partners and leadcross-functional discussions and meetings.
  

[OPERATIONS]

• Conductproduct/component inspection of at least one brand, maintain records andretain samples.
  


• Report quality troublesto the superviser, global/region QA, manufacturing plants and the otherteams concerned.
  


• Conduct trouble shooting and take corrective actions incooperation with manufacturing plants.
  


• Handle consumer complaints against imported products.
  


• Ensure timely quality information sharing specificallywith Brand teams.
  


• Periodically reviewand improve Japan GMP for the product storage, the labeling and cullingoperations.
  


• Support issue working team by collecting/providingquality information against product issues.
  


• Support SAP processimprovement, specifically on incoming inspection of imported products.

• Leadproactive risk management on quality and commercialize new productssmoothly.
  

Qualifications

• BS Degree orequivalent in science or engineering (chemistry or pharmacy preferred)
  


• More than 10 yearexperience in QA in consumer goods business and more than 5 yearexperience in team/people management.
  


• Knowledge in cosmeticproducts, quality management system, Pharmaceutical Affiars Law.
  


• Knowledge in cGMPrequirements of US FDA and process validation is preferred
  


• Hands-on experiencein supplier quality management/development is preferred.
  


• Excellentcommunication with internal and external business partners both inJapanese and English.
  


• Computer literatewith good working knowledge of Microsoft products. SAP experience ispreferred.
  


• Experience in theparticipation in cross-functional projects.
  


• Good in the followingskills: dealing with ambiguity, conflict management, negotiation, timelydecision making, managing diversity, problem solving, logical thinking,presentation
