English School teacher/Branch manager
Job Description: Branch Manager with teaching English conversation lessons to children and adults (aged 2 to adult). Curriculum and training provided. Candidates must genuinely like teaching English, possess a basic understanding of Japanese culture and have the ability to deal with the needs of children while also being skilled in management. Successful applicants will be expected to duly prepare for each of their lessons.
Salary: 260,000 yen for the first 3 months. After this review period, the owner will assess performance and increase the salary accordingly. Additionally, after this 3 month period has been complete AND when the number of students passes 50, the school will pay a commission for each new student enrolled.
Working Days: 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). Two days off per week.
Daily Schedule: 25 – 30 hours per week Average Class size: 5-7 (1 hour per lesson)
Position Start Date: ASAP
Commuting Fee: N/A (The teachers accommodation is located above the school) Accommodation: The new school is located in a big house with 2nd floor containing the teacher and his/her family’s accommodation. The 1st floor contains the school. The rent is 70,000 yen per month (this includes the internet, water and electricity)
