Become an ALT in Mitaka - Western Tokyo ‹ Interac ‹ Japan Guide - 2015
We are looking for individuals who are dedicated and energetic, and looking for a career with a growing company that makes a difference in the lives of young people in Japan every day. As an Interac teacher you will be able to enrich the lives of children by sharing your knowledge of English language and communication skills as well as by giving insights into other cultures. Your job is two-fold: language instructor and cultural ambassador. These two aspects are inseparable and we will give you everything you need to become an expert in both by providing comprehensive initial training and ongoing support.
Interac teachers maintain a healthy work-life balance as they generally work from Monday to Friday with classes scheduled between 8 am and 5 pm. From time to time, you might be asked to work on Saturday for school sports or cultural festivals or there may be occasional ongoing training commitments. Otherwise, you can enjoy weekends and national holidays as well as extended breaks in winter, spring, and summer.
Now is the best time to apply for a teaching position. Before doing so, we strongly advise you to check the above-mentioned requirements for this position, and to thoroughly check your application and cover letter one more time to ensure accuracy and relevancy. Also, always check that your phone number and email address are correct before submitting your application.
Interac is committed to creating meaningful career experiences and enriching lives and careers through education.
