The Candidate

BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferable)More than 15 years experience in working as a Quantity Surveyor for Contractor(s).Work experience in handling contract documents and estimation and assessment of work quantities at plant construction site and/or engineering at home office for more than 5 years.Previous experience working on LNG or GAS Plant project is desired.Understanding of logical concepts, good interpretation of legal documents, good command of written and spoken English.PC skills for using MS applications such as MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerpoint, and E-mail Management.

Job Description

Reporting to: Field Control Manager / Field Engineering ManagerSubstituted by: Field Control Manager / Field Engineering Manager

Main Responsibilities

Conduct Quantity Surveys of the various works performed or completedPrepare Quantity Survey Report for Field Engineering Manager and/or Field Control ManagerPrepare Change Order Proposal for submission to Client under supervision by Field Control ManagerAssessment and evaluation of Claims submitted by Sub-contractorsPrepare material take-offs as may be requiredPrepare Cost estimates for in-house use, Change Order Proposal, Cost Control.Maintain contact to Head-office with regard to Project Data Base information, and updating and improvement of forms, procedures, etcAny other task which is related to Q/S works.Construction Drawings, Subcontract Documents. in-house Reporting, Engineering Drawings.
