Summary:
The Professional Services Consultant will be responsible for implementing SafeNet data protection solutions in customer enterprise environments. This is a highly technical role with extensive customer facing responsibilities.
The candidate will work with cross functional teams at customer sites focusing on IT security, encryption, key management. Main focus will be on SafeNet StorageSecure & KeySecure products.
Work as an individual or within a team on technology projects to meet specific customer requirements.
May include architecture design, software development, customization, configuration, implementation, support, maintenance, and/or administration of technology products. Work directly with the client and travel to the client site when needed. Serve as pre-sales support specialist when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: (% of time)
Data Protection Services
70% - Works with customer to deploy storage security, installation and configuration.20% - HSM installation, configuration and training.10% - Customized Training to customers / partners.Contacts: All employee levels, vendors, clients.
Physical Demands: Ability to travel approximately 30-70%, across APAC offices.
Working Conditions: General office work environment, onsite engagements, ability to work remotely.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
B.A./ B.S. degree required (preferably Computer Science, Information Services or a related field).
Experience:
6 years prior related work experience in software security.
4 years storage data security (NAS, SAN)
3 years experience with NetApp Storage Security
Skills:
Proficient with storage security on Windows CIFS, and Linux NFSGood knowledge of DataFort and Brocade Encryption solutionsSolid background in cryptography and experience in networking and network security protocolsAbility to comprehend customer requirements and propose integration solutions with Safenet ProductsIn-depth knowledge of Cryptographic Algorithms and their inner workingsExcellent interpersonal skillsSolid knowledge of information security principles and practicesProvide customer training on installed solutionsExperience in a direct customer facing (e.g. presales, consultancy) roleRelevant security or professional certifications are beneficial; CISM, CISA, CISSPStrong ability to document requirements and to write technical response papersTakes pride in high quality and on time deliveryDesirable Skills:
Proficient with HSM policies, application development and programming interfaces (API) is a plusHSM deployment architecture experience is a plusWorking experience with Cryptographic APIs : PKCS#11, MS CAPI/CNG, JCA/JCE is a plusAbility to impart training to programmers on Cryptographic API's of related HSM's.Licensures, Certifications:
