- Work type: Full-time
Note: Initial 6 month-contract basis, leading to a full-time offer if so agreed between the parties.
- Requirements: *English: native level
*Japanese: business level with either of the following qualifications:
a. “Nihongo Noryoku Shiken” Japanese Proficiency Test: level 2~
b. “BJT” Business Japanese Proficiency Test: 400 points~
- Salary: JPY200,000~JPY300,000/month
(depending on experience and qualifications)
+bonus for full-time employee
- Your main responsibilities will be:
Translate documents received from throughout the various departments of the company
from Japanese into English.
- Requirements:
*Native level English speaker
*Japanese: business level with either of the following qualifications:
a. “Nihongo Noryoku Shiken” Japanese Proficiency Test: level 2~
b. “BJT” Business Japanese Proficiency Test: 400 points~
*Excellent writing skills in English
*Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills (intermediate level)
*2+years translation experience
*Must be detailed-oriented, responsible and career-minded
*Must have valid visa/permission to work in Japan
- Working conditions:
*Working hours:
Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:40 (45 minute lunch break)
Occasionally overtime (Note: Overtime is paid)
*Holidays:
Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, summer/ Year end/New Year holidays
(+paid holidays following initial 6 month-contract)
*Insurance coverage: Health insurance, Employment insurance, Pension insurance, Compensation insurance
