Our team is comprised of talented individuals who enjoy working in a multicultural environment.

We are looking for an accomplished and enthusiastic web designer to complete our development team. As a member of the team the successful candidate will help create the aesthetics and user experience of next generation web services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hand code HTML5 & CSS templates from Photoshop designs
- Maintain clean HTML5 & CSS code complying with web standards
- Occasionally produce Photoshop designs and graphical elements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Efficient, neat and punctual
- Quick learner
- Practical knowledge of the Internet and modern web applications
- Bilingual Japanese / English
- Can work with OS X

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- HTML5
- CSS
- JavaScript / jQuery
- Image manipulation / edition (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Hand coding (using text editors such as VIM, Eclipse, TextMate or Sublime Text)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Capable of developing complex WordPress templates
- Good understanding of PHP and MVC frameworks
- Familiar with responsive web design
- Familiar with unobtrusive JavaScript

Our magazine is a glossy, A4-sized bi-monthly, who's content reflects the colorful and interesting aspects of Nagoya, and the surrounding areas.
