Experienced Project Manager - Feasibility studies - Philippines

My client is a multinational engineering and consulting company. They are dedicated in balanced sustainability.

They offer their clients integrated management consulting for complex projects with efficient top class design and supervision. Their expertise extends into many industries such as energy, urban & mobility, industry , water and environment.

They are one of the leading power sector cons
ultancies in South East Asia and run these projects from just two of their offices in this area. They have a further 9 offices within this region dealing in many other consultancy matters.

My client has an urgent opening for an experienced Project Manager - feasibility studies for their thermal and renewable power projects in the Phillipines. The ideal candidate will have between 10 and 30 years experience from power utilities, independent power producers, consultancy and engineering companies.

Your scope of work will include the following:
· Management of power plant conceptual design studies
· Management of power plant pre-feasibility and feasibility studies
· Preparation of investment and O&M cost estimates
· Management of financial modelling for the projects
· Management of various other technical consulting assignments, such as technical due diligences and lenders engineer projects
· Preparation of reports for the clients as required and coordinating the internal report preparation process
· For interested candidates, business development, proposal preparation and consulting contract negotiation can be included in the scope of work
Much of the work involves writing reports in English language, so excellent English language skill is a must. The position is located in Manila, Philippines. The job includes occasional trips to other SE-Asian countries, so willingness to travel on short-term assignments is expected.

The qualifications and requirements for the position are:

Professional:
· Higher professional degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, energy economics, or other field relevant for power sector projects (M.Sc. or B.Sc.)
· Minimum of ten years professional experience from power sector
· Fluent in English
· Good skills in report writing
· Good skills in Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs

Salary and package for this particular position are somewhat negotiable and flexible. Salary range starts from £70,000 and can be extended to £100,000 plus for the right candidate.
