ALT- Yonezawa, Yamagata (Immediate Start)

Yonezawa, Yamagata
August 29-March
225,000 yen/month

Heart English School is seeking candidates for immediate positions in Japanese public schools in Yonezawa city, Yamagata. Positions are in a junior high school mainly, and visiting several elementary schools on a rotating schedule. This job involves a bit more independent teaching than with a standard ALT position.

The work involves the education and internationalization of Japanese young people in their own environment. ALTs teach during classtime, but also eat with students at lunch, play with them during recess or during sports practice, and in general socialize with the children to give them the chance to use English naturally with a native speaker. The work is very rewarding and the chance to impact hundreds of lives is there, with the many joys and responsibilities that go along with it.

Requirements:

-Native English Speaking ability
-Valid working visa or ability to be sponsored (BA/BS degree or higher)
-Real enjoyment in working with children and impacting them positively
-Some teaching experience
-Driving ability

Heart English School can assist if necessary with:

-Full training and orientation
-Finding accomodation and rental car if needed
-Visa sponsorship

Please keep in mind that August would include 2 days of work near the end of the month, paid on a per-day basis. Should March have less than 16 scheduled days, that month would be paid per day of work as well. All other months pay the full rate.

Heart English School hopes to receive your application soon. Please contact us any time if you have questions for working in a Japanese public school, whether in the near future or looking forward toward a future position.

For currently open positions, we will give high preference for applicants able to start as soon as possible.
