Yamagata ALT/English School Position starting Nov. 2012

MY English School is looking to fill a combined ALT/English School position in Higashine and near Shinjo in Yamagata Prefecture.

We offer:
1) 286,000 yen average first-year monthly compensation package after bonus and benefits (10,000 yen less per month for those without adequate qualifications)

3) School run by certified teacher and former ALT who understands your needs
4) Lifestyle support when desired (i.e. apartment setup, language support, etc.)

Applicant requirements:
1) Minimum two years experience teaching in Japan
2) Conversational Japanese ability
3) Valid work visa
4) Valid driving license
5) Ability to move to Higashine or Shinjo in Yamagata
6) Willingness to study for and obtain an approved TEFL certificate within the first year of employment (for those not already holding one)
7) Professional attitude and demeanor
8) Love working with children, but able to teach all age groups

Applicant preferences:
1) TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or certified teacher qualifications
