Vendor & Outsourcing Manager

Role Summary:                                                                                             

Develop and implement an effective vendor management organization in line with business and IS strategies and direction                                                                     Vendor risk Management, legal & contract negotiations, vendor evaluation, vendor stability measuring and reporting                                                                    Manage IS Procurement, working with stakeholders IS and business to review vendor issue management and service delivery                                                                                    

Job Descriptions:                                                                                          

Develop a framework for facilitating strategic sourcing and vendor management in line with business and IS Strategies                                                                           SPOC for all IS vendor, procurement, and asset management                                            Manage the entire lifecycle of vendor management from RFx creation, proposal review, vendor engagement and disengagement                                                                  Develop procurement strategies, cost management initiatives and efficiency improvementsFinancial analysis of contracts. Analysis and identify, catalogue and monitor a contract’s financial requirements and commitments.                                                                  Vendor Risk Management, including financial viability & market presence and ability continue services, regulatory governance                                                                                                                      

Experience:                                                                                                                            

Multi-site vendor management (Japanese and internationally)                                          Experienced in developing various contract related documents such as Request for Proposals, Request for Information, etc.                                                                    Track record of project and people management with complex deliverablesBudget, procurement, contracts management

Skills & Competencies:                                                                                 

An IT professional with at least 5+ years of experience in IT                                               3 + years experienced in Vendor, contracts, procurement management                            2+ experienced in Management role in IT                                                                Language: Strong English and Fluent Japanese. Written, Presentation and Oral    Communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with IT knowledge            Strong negotiation skills                                                                                                        Ability to work independently and collaboratively at enterprise level

Other Qualifications:            

University Degree                                                                                                      Project management, Certified PMP: (Preferred)                                                   ISO / ISMS Management certifications (preferred)
