a day in the life of the Local

Storyteller – Japan


  • you

    are accountable for attracting and engaging guests via the floor and

    various digital mediums by providing education and monthly reporting,

    where you review, measure and strategically fine tuned our content plan as

    needed

  • Social

    • Media:

      • daily

        city level content curation and creation for Instagram and Facebook

      • helps

        to implement storytelling and content to drive future ecommerce business

        channels

      • daily

        city level moderation and digital engagement – you use social listening

        tools to introduce lululemon and #thesweatlife to new members of our

        collective

      • you

        attend local experiences and events, and are in the know on the upcoming

        fitness trends and instructors in your local community

      • you

        partner with our PR team and the local brand and community manger to

        foster and develop deep relationships with online and offline

        influencers, who are healthy, sweaty and mindful

      • you

        are accountable to monthly reporting, where you review, measure and

        strategically fine tune our content plan as needed

    • Educator:

      • Provides

        guests with world-class ‘education’ and guest experience in the areas of

        product, culture, and community by speaking authentically about product

        use through their own experiences

      • Product

        Education: communicates special features, benefits, fabric properties,

        usage, and best care instructions

    • Operations:

      • Creates

        excitement and FUN for our guests on the retail floor

    Receives/processes

    stock received from warehouse, involving: unpacking, counting, tagging as

    required, folding, sizing and placing on the floor, with overflow stock in back

    room and stored areas

    You actively live the lululemon culture and lifestyle and are

    ready to inspire, challenge and educate our guests. You are a social media

    pioneer but also love to drive the ultimate guest experience. You wake up

    excited to make the world a healthier, happier place – and know that social

    media coupled with education can help do this.


    You spend time being inspired on the floor and find ways to

    showcase it digitally. You are not only responsible for providing world-class

    education but also for curating and creating beautiful and inspiring

    #thesweatlife inspired content for city level Instagram, and Facebook channels.


    Our secret sauce is our pro-active social engagement. You use

    social platforms, lists and hashtags to build new relationships through social,

    and introduce these new potential guests to the collective.

    an educators working day (the hours)

    We expect all full-time employees to be available to open and close, at a

    minimum, twice per week. We expect all part-time employees to be available to

    open and close a minimum of once per week. Everyone must work one weekend day.

    Part-time is up to 23 hours per week; full time is 24-40 hours per week. Time

    is spent educating on the retail floor.
