Assistant Language Teacher - Seto, Aichi Prefecture - mid/late-April start

Interac, Japan's largest private provider of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs), is seeking applications from native English speakers for ALT positions in Seto, Aichi Prefecture. These positions start from mid/late-April 2012.

ALTs are more than language teachers. They are the face of the global community and help and support young Japanese learners to broaden their horizons and develop international understanding.

Requirements

? Must be a native-level speaker of English
? Must have a university degree
? Must have at least 12 years of formal education in the medium of English
? Must be professional and mature in all aspects of behavior
? Must have a valid Japanese work visa
? A Japanese driver license is desired

Training

Interac has a comprehensive initial and ongoing training programme to support and develop all ALTs.

Working hours

Assignments can be scheduled between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday through Friday.

Remuneration

Salary ranges between 230,000 and 255,000 Japanese Yen per calendar month for a full-time position. Full-time ALTs receive a generous holiday entitlement in line with school vacations throughout the year.

Fukui Prefecture Corporate Class

CES is currently seeking an experienced native English teacher for a corporate class in Fukui prefecture (nearest station is Kaminaka) starting in September.

Our client near Kaminaka station in Mikatakaminaka city (Eastern Fukui prefecture) would like to have a 1-hour Business skills private class once a week on a week day (between the hours of 9:00AM-9:00PM) starting in September and continuing for 20 weeks.

The location is in Fukui prefecture, but can also be reached from Maizuru or Tsuruga.

The total remuneration including travel expenses is 10,000 yen per hour.

The day of the class and times are flexible and can be scheduled to match the teacher's availability.

All materials along with support will be provided by CES.

Public School ALT in Hiroshima Prefecture

ALTIA CENTRAL will be interviewing immediately for ALT positions starting from September 1st, 2011 in the Hiroshima area. We will have several positions, including one in the Miyajima area of Hatsukaichi city. This position is at 1 main JHS and 2 Elementary schools and while it may be possible to commute from Itsukaichi or even Hiroshima city, we would prefer the ALTs to live in or near the town they work in. Our Recruiting Manager will be conducting interviews in Hiroshima as well as at our head office in Nagoya city on an ongoing basis for these positions and others.

Successful applicants must be flexible, enjoy working with young children, and be motivated to go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for their students. A strong desire to continue to live and work in Japan, solid Japanese language skills, and some teaching experience with young learners is also highly recommended, and a minimum BA/BS degree is required for visa purposes. Successful applicants must also be available for 4 days of Orientation/Training in Nagoya city at the end of August (accommodation and transportation from Nagoya to your placement will be paid for) before beginning in school.
