We are a fashion apparel retail chain with a very strong presence in Japan, Hong Kong and China currently seeking for a passionate, professional and experienced Financial Controller.

The candidate will be fully responsible for the financial planning and control, budgeting and analysis, treasury, compliance and tax planning functions of the Company. The position plays a critical role in the senior management team and will report directly to the Group’s Chief Financial Officer.
To provide professional advice to the senior management team on strategic business developmentTo take ownership over all finance and taxation matters of the group in JapanTo ensure the business is at all times compliant in relation to finance mattersTo ensure high standards of financial controls and reporting and its compliance to corporate policies and procedures continuously updated and compatible with current industry best practicesTo manage the production of the monthly management accounts providing value-added analysis of trading and operational performance, conducting variance analysis from budgets, monitoring stock turn, cash flow and inventory positions, seeking cost/expense reduction opportunitiesCPA Qualified plus 5-8 years experience in a senior capacity within a finance team gained from sizable commercial organizations preferably with principal activities in fashion retail Be familiar with international accounting and taxation standardsHave strong commercial orientation and analytical skills with high integrity Possess high level of leadership skill through an energetic, enthusiastic and lead by example approachWith excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English is a mustAttractive package will be offered to the right candidate.
