Role summary:
Primary duty is to achieve sales quota, identifying opportunties & managing relationship with customers in Japan. The majority of customer contact will be by phone and email and in person, as required. Focus will be on sales of IHS Jane’s products and to customers in Japan.
General Job Duties:
Effectively sell IHS Jane's products (mainly print book) in order to achieve and exceed targetsSchedule activity around renewal, new business and customer queriesEnsure customer delightParticipate in all sales and marketing activities to achieve company sales plan.Work closely with other team members to accomplish team goals.Sales activity will be predominantly on the telephone, supported by email and, on large accounts; there will be some face-to-face work. To meet and exceed a minimum of 50 effective calls per weekFollow "renewal best practice" process as discussed with ManagerGenerate new leads through new initiatives/cold calling????

University graduate or higher diploma in sales & marketing or related disciplineMinimum 3 years’ solid sales experience in B2BStrong presentation, communication and negotiations skills.Fluent in spoken and written English and Japanese.Mature, aggressive, self-motivated with a passion for sellingTelemarketing experience is an added advantage.Business with Government customer is an advantageExperience in information services, and/or Defence, National Security related business is definitely an advantage.???·????
