English Language Teacher ‹ Japan Guide - 2015

Chiba Kokusai Junior and Senior High School is looking for an experienced, hard working, self-motivated, English language instructor to teach JHS and HS level students.

Responsibilities include:



– Teaching 18-20+ hours a week of English Expression, English Conversation, Eiken preparation, Listening, and Writing courses



– Create lesson plans and assess students



– Write, proctor, and grade exams



– Advise English club activities. Coach speech and debate (experience preferred)



– Assist homeroom teachers in class management



– Attend staff meetings and corporate training



– Prepare students for university entrance exams and interviews



– Teach summer and winter seminars



– Perform demonstration lessons at Open Days and other student recruiting events

A candidate possessing some fluency in a language aside from English or Japanese will receive precedence. Chiba Kokusai offers foreign language classes as both regular curriculum and special elective classes.
