Lockheed Martin, Global Training & Logistics (GTL), is seeking applicants for the position of
MAGTF Logistics Support Systems (MLS2) Field Service Representative to provide on-site support for Marine Corps forces.

The FSR will provide on-site system installation, information assurance and system administration support, to include the user-training period while in garrison and during government designated operational Marine Corps deployments. For extended periods of operations, it may be required to deploy to the area of operations in excess of 120 consecutive days.

The responsibilities of this position, include, but may not be limited to:
Perform server administration functions and technical maintenance on existing CLC2S and TCPT servers, maintain data feeds, and troubleshoot application problems that may be associated with the server.
Facilitate in transitioning the classroom training and instruction of CLC2S and TCPT to the Marine Corps TECOM.
Provide guidance to operating forces on the correct usage and setup of the system to best meet the operational requirements.
Provide technical support to include initial loading of the systems on servers, maintenance, and operation of the data feeds.
Assist with troubleshooting technical issues, administrative issues, and bug issues that may arise with CLC2S and TCPT.
Provide weekly oral and written status reports on all activities associated with support of the units in theater or at the request of the MLS2 Project Office.
Prepare a final trip report containing technical support actions and training events conducted while in theater.
Support Marine Corps exercises in CONUS and OCONUS. This includes exercises deploying from the Eastern and Western Continental United States as well as within the Western Pacific Islands of Hawaii and Japan where United States Military bases are located.
Support OCONUS deployments in support of MAGTF CMD Elements deploying to contingencies or operations and areas of interest as directed by HQMC.

This position may require travel (Potentially in excess of 120 consecutive days) both within CONUS and OCONUS.Performs a variety of activities in information systems design, development, and analysis encompassing one or more of the following areas of technical expertise: programming, computer application analysis, software development, systems integration, and related disciplines.

Required Skills

- Minimum of 4 years experience in planning, requesting, prioritizing, tasking, monitoring, and managing USMC logistics resources

- Knowledgeable in Windows Operating Systems (included, but not limited to Server 2003, XP, Windows 7)

- Knowledgeable/familiar with Oracle DMBS 10g, RedHat LINUX, MS Office, VM Ware, personal computer and server hardware maintenance

- Candidate must have the ability to multi-task, be a self-starter, and posses the ability to coordinate training with the Operating Forces to include all logistics support needed for a safe and effective training course.

- Additionally, candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, Power Point, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills, being able to effectively present briefings/presentations in front of large groups and to military personnel in senior leadership positions.

Desired Skills

- Working knowledge of current Marine Corps logistics policies and procedures.
- Prior experience as a USMC Bridge Technology FSR/Instructor
