Recruit For INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER

Age, nationality, and gender are open, but only Native English speakers need apply.

The ideal applicant should have experience in teaching children and should be of cheerful nature and have good communication skill.

You may bring your child to work if needs be as long as English is spoken and they are of ages between five to ten years old. ( children who understand and speak Japanese will not be allowed.)

- Students Age:
Around 2 to 10 years-old

- School Opening Times:
Mon to Sun including National holidays

- Work Days:
Teacher's preferred schedule taken into consideration

- Work Time -

Minimum three hours between 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. per day
Possible to work once per week but prefer someone who can work 3 days or more per week.
*Possible to work on days only without your work in other schools.
*Additionally you can work more than 3 hours per day if you wish.

- Salary -
JPY 1,800 ~ JPY 3,500 per hour plus transportation fee
*Hourly fees will be determined by contents of the lesson, your experience and qualification.

The Assistant Coordinator EMR will work with the Coordinator EMR in the general administration of the organization’s events, and in developing and executing marketing strategy and affiliations with domestic (Japanese) and international universities, educational institutions, publishing organizations and corporations.

The Assistant Coordinator will also act as the Special Assistant to the Chairman of the International Advisory Board and the Executive Director in the administration of the Japan International Liaison Committee, a Tokyo-based steering committee for the planned IAFOR Research Institute.

The ideal candidate will be confident in both written and spoken English and Japanese, and have excellent interpersonal and communicative skills. The candidate will be interested in working in a challenging international environment, with the strong opportunity for professional development and internal promotion.
A familiarity with Excel and MS word is expected.

Assistant to the Chairman Duties:

JALT’s Task-Based Learning SIG, in association with the University of Central Lancashire, UK and Osaka Shoin Women’s University, Japan will be sponsoring the “Task-Based Language Teaching in Asia: Challenges and Opportunities” conference, to be held May 19th and 20th 2012, at Osaka Shoin Women's University, Osaka, Japan.

The aim of this international conference is to enable language educators and researchers from across Asia to share ideas and discuss various aspects relating to the theory and/or practice of Task-Based Learning and Teaching in Asia.
