Electrical/Electronics Technical Manager - Bucks

My clients in North Buckinghamshire are looking for an Electrical/Electronics Technical Manager. This role is commutable from Northampton, Bedford, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Brackley, Towcester. My client has an outstanding reputation for high quality and performance products, strong customer support and reliability. Their European Technical Centre is the hub of innovation and excellence, providing design, development and technical support for the European market. The role of the Technical Manager is vital in providing exceptional technical leadership to the team of international engineers. Working closely with technical headquarters in Japan, you will lead and manage a number of product design and development, application and support projects, ensuring they are delivered to specification and within timeframes to European customers. You will also have direct responsibility for the electrical and instrumentation section of the business. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, the successful candidate will have significant experience gained within an engineering design role. With demonstrable supervisory or management experience (at least as a Group Leader), you will ideally have worked on the application of industrial electronics for factory automation and machine control, with involvement in Fieldbus systems, sensor technology and electrical actuation devices. Knowledge of other European languages is preferred; knowledge of Japanese is an asset.
