There job location can be anywhere in the East African region.

For general Site Engineering duties

Reporting to the Senior Engineer,Setting Out, with Dumpy Level, Theodolite & Laser Level,Engineering ControlCoordinate Formwork Set up and placementOversee placement of Reinforcement and check for ‘pre-pour’ inspectionQuantify Concrete requirementsControl/supervision of labour crews and Equipment sets,Quality Control measures on Concrete placement: Slump tests and Concrete Test CubesOversee installation of Drainage, Septic Tanks, Soak pits, Hard stands, roadways and paved areasRequired qualifications & experience
Degree or higher (but will accept someone with Certificate or Diploma that has the relevant experience)2-3 years relevant experience working on site for a Construction Company.Ability and Experience of using surveying Equipment: Dumpy level, Theodolite, Laser Level, etc.Roads Experience does not count, as it is far different to Building Construction.General Foremen

5 Positions

Reporting to the Site Project Manager,

Overall control of an individual Construction Site,

Instruct, Coordination & Control all site activities:

Direct labour force (both Kenyan and Foreign)Construction Equipment & Plant items,All Materials required on siteProgressing work in line with the agreed Construction Programme

Achieving quality construction standards in line with management guidelines,

Managing client issues

Managing Health & Safety procedures

Required qualifications & experience

Education Qualification is not that relevant if his has good relevant Construction SupervisionExperience and a Trades background.+10 years relevant experience working on site for a Construction Company, with +5 years in a supervisory position.Ability and Experience of using basic surveying/setting out Equipment: Dumpy level, Laser Level, etc.Roads Experience does not count, as it is far different to Building Construction.Similar to above requirements for Site Engineer & Site Foremen, but combinedReporting to the Site Project ManagerRequired qualifications & experience

Education Qualification is not that relevant if his has good relevant Construction Supervision Experience and a Trades background, if possible.+10 years relevant experience working on site for a Construction Company, with +5 years in a junior supervisory position.Ability and Experience of using basic surveying/setting out Equipment: Dumpy level, Laser Level, etc would be an advantage but not essential,Roads Experience does not count, as it is far different to Building Construction.Construction Mechanic

2 Positions

Review, inspection, repair & maintenance of all types of:

Construction Equipment,Trucks and Trailers,Small Construction plant items,Motor VehiclesCamp Manager

1 Position

Reporting to the Site Project Manager

Supervision of all Camp facilities, to include but limited to:

AccommodationKitchen & Dining area,Maintenance yardSecurity GuardsOrdering and Stock Control of all supplies and inventory within the camp
