Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Handling of calls
Interrupt busy lines if an emergency warrants.Keep records of calls placed and received, and of related toll charges.Observe signal lights on switchboards, and dial or press buttons to make connections.Operate telephone switchboards and systems to advance and complete connections, including those for local, long distance, pay telephone, mobile, person-to-person, and emergency callsUpdate directory information.Record and handle all incoming and outgoing couriersListen to customer requests, to answer questions and provide telephone information.Respond to public inquiriesAny other duties upon request Key Competencies
Switch board OperationCustomer ServiceOccupational SkillsGood Communication skills.Ability to take up roles and responsibilities on proactive basisPleasantWarmMulti taskPresentableNumber of years of Experience: 1 year and above Preferred Educational Qualification: ‘O’ Levels
