Volunteer Telephone Counselor
Applications are now being accepted for the AUTUMN Telephone Counseling Program
Autumn Training Schedule
Course: Saturday 17th September 2011 (introductory session) and ends on Saturday 3rd December (final session.)
Apart from the first and final Saturdays, training will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:30-21:30.
Eligibility:
21 years of age or older
Fluency in English
Potential candidates are interviewed
The training program provides:
- Training in client-centered counseling
- An excellent opportunity for learning and personal growth
- An opportunity to directly support people in need in the community
- A chance to join an international community of caring individuals
The evening course is offered once a year for working people. Information about the topics covered can be found on our website in the "Volunteer" Section.
