ALT in Osaka City

Job#3000 ALT position in Osaka City

Applicants will be needed to meet the following requirements:
*Must love kids
*Must hold a working visa
*Must enroll or have a Japanese National Health Insurance
*Need to be flexible with the schedule
*Commitment for the contract term
*Basic Japanese skill to communicate with Japanese teachers
*Native English speaker
*Teaching experiences in Japan
*Need to go to the BOE and the schools beforehand
*Need to attend the training before the first day
*Must have a professional manner as a public school teacher.
*Must attend training session(s) during the contract term.
*Flexibility to understand Japanese culture and willingness to share your own culture
*Good communication skills with children/Japanese teachers, enjoying working together
*Flexibility to follow the curriculum and to accommodate teachers’ requests at your assigned school(s)

Things that will be great assets are below;
*Teaching experience as a certified school teacher in your home country
*TESOL or TEFL holders
*Ability to create lesson plans for enjoyable activities for children, entertain them
*ALT experiences preferable
*B.A. / B.S. degree or above.

ALT at Public JHS, HS, Special Needs schools in Osaka City

*Schools: Public JHS(s), ES(s), and Special Needs schools in Osaka City

*Term: Sep to Feb 2013
You will have to join the meeting and the training beforehand, possibly in the end of August

*Working hour: 8:30am-3:15pm, 8:30am to 4:15pm or different working hours
depending on the schools.

*Total working days: depends on the position. Min.60days Max.90days from Sep. to Feb.

*Salary: 11,000yen a day (daily)

*Transportation: Limited transportation fee provided Up to 1,000yen a day

*Days Off/Holiday: Sat. , Sun., National holidays, and winter break
However, you will have to work a few days on the weekends due to the special events of the schools.
