Systems Administrator

Saint Maur International School, Yokohama, seeks a System Administrator whose duties include supporting, designing, and maintaining the school's network & technological infrastructure. The System Administrator will install, configure, and maintain both physical servers and virtual servers. He/She will maintain the school network infrastructure, email, & storage space to ensure an optimal uptime and efficient day-to-day usage by school faculty, staff, and students.

This position requires strong teamwork, interpersonal, and English-speaking skills, as well as experience working with PC, Mac, and iOS platforms.

-Working knowledge in network configuration/troubleshooting, specifically in Cisco based LAN: Layer 2/3 switches, routers
-Experience in managing/configuring Cisco controller based wireless network
-Windows Active Directory Administration experience
-VMWare based server virtualization administration experience: ESXi 5, vCenter Server 5
-Working knowledge in using scripting languages used for server administration: PowerShell, VBS
-Experience in configuring network storage devices and DAS storage device
-Mac OS X and Windows operating system deployment experience: DeployStudio, WDS, Symantec Ghost
-Experience in Cisco ASA Firewall administration, Cisco IPS administration
-Experience in providing desktop support on Windows 7/Mac OS X Lion operating systems
-Familiar with Linux operating system and BIND DNS configuration
-Familiar with MAC OS X Lion Server administration
-Familiar with IIS 7.0 server administration

Any of the following Qualifications/Certifications are highly desirable:
• Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) or higher
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
• Apple Certified Associate or higher
• Degree in Information Systems, Network Systems, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or similar
