Bilingual elementary after school program teacher
You will be responsible for teaching and assisting with children's after school care, Japanese homework, and English development. You will also be responsible for administration tasks including customer service, e-mail translation and correspondence with Japanese customers, and building strong relationships with the parents of the children attending our school.
Our team need to be outgoing, energetic, and creative problem solvers. You need to have the ability keep the children in the program entertained while facilitating a fun, creative, and positive educational environment which is also visible to our families and prospective customers.
Because we are a school which incorporates tons of art and multimedia studies into our curriculum a candidate who has creative skills such as art, music, design, cooking, engineering, science, and writing is a must. Skills in physical educational and overall love of sports are also preferred.
Computer skills are a must, preferably with apple products.
The ideal candidate will have experience in school management, English instruction, and elementary/kindergarten education.
Basic working hours will be from 11:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Starting salary is from ¥270,000 per month but is negotiable based on skills, experience, and initial performance during a trial period.
