IELTS Examiners

The British Council is recruiting a team of experienced, qualified and motivated EFL professionals, Examiners and Examiner Trainers to join their growing IELTS business in China.

As an IELTS Examiner, you will examine IELTS speaking and writing modules, including second marking while maintaining the standards required by the IELTS Professional Support Network and the British Council.

Examiners will be part of the wider British Council network and this is your opportunity to work in one of the world’s largest and most dynamic English language assessment environments. There are also potential opportunities to work in other areas such as teacher training and materials development.

To be considered for the position, you should be suitably qualified with at least three-years of full-time or equivalent part-time work experience in the relevant age groups.

In return for your skills and experience, we are offering a competitive package including the potential to earn CNY 24,000 a month, flight to post as well as a comprehensive local health insurance package.

Start dates: Jan 2015, Feb 2015 and Mar 2015
