·Cooperate with global 3PP category management.
·Develop and Implement and/or support category strategies & supplier management projects in Japan to improve cost, service level, security of supply, supplier base management. Setting up specific tactics to implement global category strategies, build by global category managers, along the set targets. The Targets are aligned with global procurement targets and business needs which are challenged & reviewed on a regular basis. Help building and executing alternate source projects and provide all support for source approval.
·Identify local long term suppliers and develop them to be future partners to Teva. Evaluate supplier capabilities and capacities in line with Teva requirements.
·Constantly driving negotiations and discussions with suppliers in order to achieve the savings as per predefined targets. Negotiate 3PP prices with 3rd party suppliers. Manage relevant communication with 3rd party 3PP suppliers.
·Lead and work on various important projects assigned from time to time, based on needs.
·Maintain and establish working procedures with other divisions and interfaces.
