Job Description

The position serves for commercial FP&A activities for a business unit. The division offers top-notch products and is one of top players in the market. As a business partner, the position closely works with Commercial leaders in Japan as well as Global Division Finance teams, and contributes to Division’s performance optimization by providing insightful financial analysis and support for execution.

• Forecast, track, and analyze bookings, revenue, commercial P/L, and working capital


• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports


• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variance


• Prepare annual operating plan, monthly and mid-term forecasts, and long-term strategic plan


• Measure and identify opportunities to improve division performance including pricing and inventory


• Communicate with divisional teams and Japan commercial teams on a daily basis

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent knowledge; MBA highly preferred


• 3+ years experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance roles


• Thorough understanding in financial accounting


• Strong command in English and Japanese


• Hands-on experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) and analytical tools (Hyperion)


• A self-starter with highest standards of accuracy, precision and integrity


• Strong business acumen


• Good communicator and team player


• Be able to work in a fast paced environment and has change management experience


• Ability to function within a matrix organization


• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
