Description
Berlitz Japan has immediate openings for Part-time English instructors in the Kansai (Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo) area.

We are seeking instructors for our international team who



* are native (or native fluent) English speakers;



* are dynamic, mature and professional;



* are culturally sensitive and have excellent organizational and communication skills;



* are looking to work for a minimum of one year;



* are interested in teaching adults as well as children;



* are already in Japan and residing in the Kansai area;



* are available to work in the evenings on weekdays and/or during the day on weekends.


We offer competitive compensation (125,000 yen per month for 13.3 hr work week) with attractive benefits in a professional work environment. Flexible paid-per-lesson system also possible @1,900 yen per 40-min lesson. Teaching materials provided.


Visa/residence requirements: Applications from outside Japan will NOT be considered. Applicants must already hold a valid visa or work permission for Japan.


Instructor Qualification Program (IQP) will be held at the Berlitz West Japan Regional Office in Osaka.



Upcoming IQP Dates:



June 8 to June 12



July 6 to July 10


Are you an ALT or a student? We also have a weekend IQP session scheduled to run for 2 consecutive weekends on June 20, 21, 27 and 28.
