Nursery Teacher / School Teacher Assistant ‹ Japan Guide - 2015

We have openings for a part-time native English nursery teacher and/or English teacher Assistant in our after-school care program.

We are looking for a Nursery Teacher and/or English Teacher Assistant.

1. Responsibilities:



(1) Offering after-school care for children in kindergarten and elementary school in accordance with the directions from English Teachers; and



(2) Assist English Teachers during the class.

2. Contract period:



June 2014 to March 2015 (renewable)

3. Working hours:



Currently available slot is follows



-　　13:40-18:00 on Monday through Friday in Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama



Please note that the slots above shall be subject to the kindergarten’s calendar.

4. Pay:



2,500 JPY per hour, plus transportation.

5. Nearest station:



Higashi-Yamata (The Yokohama Municipal Subway Green Line)

6. Requirements for the position:

NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER



Experience in raising children will be appreciated.



Currently residing in Japan with valid work visa

(FYI: To be the English Teacher, at least two years’ experience as an English teacher Bachelor’s degree or higher CELTA, TESOL, or an equivalent or higher TEFL qualification)
