As part of the transition into a new regional structure Fixed Broadband & Convergence has been established as one of the seven Engagement Practices in Region China and North East Asia. The practice will drive dedicated customer engagements positioning Fixed Broadband and Converged Networks and related business as substantial parts of the operator Network Transformation towards an efficient and most competitive production platform for fixed and mobile services.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant who will work closely with our customers to identify and drive business and technology propositions to increase the operators competitiveness and strengthen Ericsson’s business partnership.
As a Senior Consultant in FBB&C you: · Drive tactical and strategic advice towards customers by network technology consulting, · Develop business and network transformation propositions, addressing operator challenges such as managing a TCO optimized transition from legacy networks towards an all-IP infrastructure and capitalizing on network assets to address new revenue opportunities in an increasingly diversified value chain of ICT services. · Create customized solutions and migration proposals together with a the Solution Architects team within Fixed Broadband & Convergence and in close cooperation with our customers · Guide the customer strategic direction by establishing high level dialog at CxO level · Are responsible for managing and meeting the customer’s expectations in the engagement process · Proactively define operator engagement proposals applicable to customer segments relevant for RCNA to address TCO and revenue generating topics
Education requirement: · University degree or equivalent knowledge acquired through long-term professional experience
Competence & Experience:
· Extensive experience in technology consulting or similar role either in Ericsson, telecom vendors, and/or telecom operators
· Fundamental knowledge and experience in analysing operator CAPEX/OPEX structures and ability to assess and optimize the impact on these for network propositions
· Ability to evaluate the condition of an operators network, processes, tools and organization. To develop - what if? - scenarios and recommend solutions to fix any gaps necessary.
· Extensive experience in ICT market development and ability to analyze market conditions and trends in an operator's network including subscriber forecasts, traffic and service trends
· Good knowledge of operator infrastructure business including access, transport and IP technologies
· Proven leadership, communication and presentation skills
· Fluent in English and Japanese
