SAP Basis Administrator

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
· Overall responsibility for solutions, managing the various assigned customer's SAP systems.
· Plan, execute and follow up SAP projects under your responsibility.
· Providing proactive support, through effective capacity planning and change management.
· Providing reactive support for customers of the service, and to introduce measures to reduce reactive work.
· Handling escalations from customers/other teams, about technical issues.
· Providing service delivery to the required service levels.
· Providing reactive support for customers of the service, and to introduce measures to reduce reactive work.
· Providing proactive support, through effective capacity planning and change management.
· Handling escalations from customers/other teams, about technical issues.
· Configuration and administration of large scale global and regional SAP systems.
· Plan, execute and follow up SAP projects under your responsibility
· Being responsive to clients whilst following the principles and procedures of the quality management system
· Identify, analyze problems and suggest improvements identified in their own area of responsibility and implementing those with a recognized business benefit
 

Requirements: Profile
· Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
· At least 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration.
· Required skills: R/3, OS and Database Administration.
· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
· Strong customer focus and management of client expectations.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Excellent teamwork skills.
· Can work with minimum supervision.
 
Core Competency
· SAP Basis certified
· SAP Basis experience on release 6.20 and above
· SAP experience on any of the following NetWeaver technologies:
· ERP Core Components (ECC)
· Supply Chain Management / Advanced Planning Optimizer
· Business Warehouse / Business Intelligence
· Enterprise Portal / SAP Workplace
· SAP Exchange Infrastructure / SAP Business Connector
· SolMan
· SAP J2EE
· Supplier Relationship Management / Business-to-Business Procurement
· SAP Basis experience using Oracle, Informix/DB2, MS SQL databases
· SAP Basis experience using HPUX, Windows operating systems
· SAP Installation and Upgrade experience
