ALT and Eikaiwa Teacher

Are you interested in being an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) or a conversation English teacher in Japan? If yes, then you might be the person we are looking for!

We are an English school located in the southern part of Fukuoka prefecture (Southern part of Japan). We are currently offering a combined ALT and English conversation teaching position.
You will work five consecutive days a week (Monday to Friday) with the position starting on April 3rd, 2012.

You will be teaching as an ALT in public schools in the morning/afternoon, as well as, teaching two Eikaiwa (conversational English) classes at AMENET once a week.

We will talk individually with you about your preferred working schedule for both the school term time and vacation time.

Since some travel is required for this position, living in the southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture would be convenient (near Yame city).

We offer:
- Assistance in finding accommodation
- Initial and follow-up training
- Renewable contract.
- Company car (if necessary, for a minimal fee; and you can use it privately on your day off)
- Visa sponsorship/renewal

If necessary, we can help with all relocation issues; from finding accommodation to opening bank accounts, lend some basic furniture, etc.

PLEASE NOTE:
- BA/BSc required (from a four-year, accredited university.)
- Must be good with children
- Must interact well with other people
- Enthusiastic and energetic native English speakers.
-Japanese or International driver’s license is required.
-Need to be able to communicate in basic Japanese.
