ALT English Teacher
At the moment we are looking for applicants who are already in Japan and hold a current work visa. In addition we prefer applicants who can drive and hold a relevant domestic or international driving license for Japan.
The job is from Monday to Friday and you will have to be at school from 8:20am until the finish of the day. The finishing time will depend on the school that you work at. (Normally around 4-4:30pm)
If you are from another area of Japan you will have to cover the cost of travel to Toshin in Nagano by yourself. Can English School can assist you in finding housing and basic furniture. You will be responsible for paying the rent, utilities and any deposits required for keys or damage. We will try to get housing close to the school that you will work. We can do working visa sponsorship for you, this would be a new work visa or extending an existing work visa/working holiday visa.
Applicicants should send their current resume with a recent picture and a cover letter. While we look well on candidates with previous work experience in Japan, we will also consider candidates who are just starting into English teaching in Japan.
